About Super Smash Burger
Our Story
The Super Smash Burger food truck is the creation of two best friends, Shane Skinner and Randal Welles, who met freshman year at Ashland High in 1997. Shane grew up working in kitchens, where he quickly realized his passion for food and finding new ways to reinvent restaurant staples. Randal has been utilizing his natural talent in business and communication since childhood, selling everything from newspapers, to fruit, to flowers, door to door. After years of grilling up patties and smashing down burgers while playing NCAA Football, they knew they had to join forces utilizing their unique skill sets to their advantage. Shane got to work in the kitchen using his foodie genius, while Randal honed in on the business side, both coming together to deliver what was missing in the valley: THE ULTIMATE SMASH BURGER FOOD TRUCK.
Our Goal
Super Smash Burger's main goal is to showcase the savory flavor of an authentic smash burger when grilled to crispy perfection, while elevating each individual ingredient. We knew this burger was so good that it needed an equally delicious partner in crime. That is why we chose to bring you fresh, never frozen fries, perfectly fried and salted for that ideal bite.
